Hydro-Informatics, meanwhile a global concept, has emerged as a central element for the progress of modelling activities and management of capacities in the sustainable development of water resources in aquatic environment. The global aim of the management is to avoid or minimize risk of crisis as water supply, irrigation, floods, and waste water treatment, etc.
The project, entitled “Euro-Korea Hydroinformatics” has the main objective to contribute to the education and training of future scientists and executive engineers in the EU and the Republic of Korea in the fields of modelling and managing projects in hydro-technologies and environment. These professionals have vocation to assist local, regional, national and international collectivities, public services and to be involved in private companies. The project, in this light, responds to the growing demand on such qualified professionals from the major leading enterprises in the hydro-informatic and water management field in the EU and Korea.
